Plan of Action Process: Benchmarks and Metrics of Success


What they should:
J.Crew could be utilizing the returning visitor conversion rate, and how they can convert them into regular customers. Also new visitor conversion rate to differentiate between new and returning customers. They should also be utilizing the amount of customers that show shopping cart abandonment.


What they are currently:
The following charts and information are based from Compete.com
Unique Visitors are how many people visit the site. It doesn't matter if they make a purchase or if they have visited the site multiple times that month, visitors are counted once. Counts represent traffic for only the US. 
Competitive rank shows where J.Crew stands next to their competitors measured by unique visitors per month. 
Rank is the popularity of the site based on unique visitors per month.
